In-Character Information
Name:
Loki Laufeyson
Series: Marvel Comics (World 616 - 'Journey Into Mystery')
Canon-Point: Right before the Manchester arc.
History: Here (Link leads to post 'Trickster Reborn', as Loki has no memories of what happened before then; or even of a few things under that point..! Ikol however, does.)
Personality: Following his re-birth, the term 'trickster' at its roots again covers Loki perfectly. Perfectly willing to lie if need be, he enjoys most kinds of games and dislikes having little to do. There's always something after all, and it's so BOOOORING to just sit around..!

Perhaps that was the point of his rebirth. He's overall a fairly optimistic sort of boy, even in the darkest of moments. He'll do anything to think his way through a situation- and the fact is, he tends to succeed. True, his efforts often get him in trouble; his methods are not the most noble, and often times it may even look like he is the one at fault. Particularly since in his previous incarnation, he was a villain! But he tries. And while it would be easier to simply take the same route as before, he's not that type. He loves his brother- and he loves his life. The adventures he has, and the work he does, while most would reveal as 'you're being blackmailed' are to him playing the role of the secret agent for Asgard itself.

He's the type of boy who enjoys a good joke, a good prank, and a good riddle. While he might try to help in the way his brother would- he's rather noble in that regard- he knows how to help with his mind and his words... And he's certainly not one to give up the chance when needed. He can read a moment in an instant and figure the situation to its end to bounce ten steps ahead of you- all while keeping a good humor about it.

And after all, that's what the trickster is, isn't it? The type to play tricks all in good fun, even if they might in turn have dire consequences. It's not about hurting people; if anything that's not the point of it at all!

As it is, he's a bit of a dork to be frank. He enjoys browsing the internet and looking at memes, and likes to make references to what he knows. No matter how seemingly inappropriate the moment, he'll make a joke- and if his partner and previous shadow Ikol has something to say about it then he reserves the right to make excuses right back. He can talk his way in, and he can talk his way out...

But at the end of the day he doesn't like to see people get hurt, and he'll do what it takes to prevent harm to the ones he cares for.

Powers: He doesn't have any! In the words of his shadowy former (and evil) self, 'power corrupts, therefore you shall have none.'

However, he DOES get a bit of a racial bonus- though not considered a full-blown frost giant, he IS considered half giant. This is likely due to how he was reborn in the first place; he quite literally just appeared, and it wasn't until Thor restored a portion of his identity to the boy through his hammer that he was anything but human in fact!

As it is, for this reason, he'll be a little heat sensitive, but not nearly so much as his double; it simply means he's more quick to change into shorts when the warmer weather comes. (And less likely to throw on a winter coat when the snow falls.)

As a side note, Asgardians (and subsequently him as well) are considerably dense in comparison to humans; he weighs as much as a slim adult male, and is potentially about as strong as one at that..!

Starter Pokemon: Murkrow - It's actually Ikol. Though Ikol is able to speak, he will spend the first few weeks or so attempting to re-work his vocal chords to do so, as magic is no longer the source of his existence. (His mini app will be posted shortly.)

Writing Samples
First-Person Sample:

Hello? Is this on? [A young boy seems to be speaking; he looks caught between perplexed and cheery to be honest.]

This is interesting- I've never had to deal with being carted off somewhere in my sleep before! [...] ...Well, maybe I have, but it was never like this! Just where IS this anyways? I got that it was somewhere called 'Unova', but where IS that? Is it another planet? Are we still in the same galaxy? The same dimension??

[wait-] OH NO- What's going to happen at home now? Leah might not feed Thori..!

[There's a croak from the bird beside him, the boy covering his ears until it stops.] Shut up Ikol.

Third-Person Sample:

The first thing he realizes is that it's hot. Not TOO hot he supposes, but hot enough that the first thing he does his take off his hood (both of them) and fan himself. "Phew..." And then... He realized he wasn't home. Definitely not home actually. The trees weren't the same, the grass wasn't the same... "...This isn't Asgardia..." he muttered to himself, frowning. This wasn't even Broxton. Or... Anywhere he recognized really!

...Maybe Ikol knew. Getting panicked after getting kidnapped or teleported or... Whatever was hardly the best way to fix things after all (and where was his Starkphone, nOOOOOOO-) "Ikol..?"

"...Krow." Wat.

There was no magpie where there should have been. Instead there was a much larger, odd looking black bird answering, if it could be called that. It took all of five seconds before he had to laugh. "Ngh- What happened to you..!"

"KROW." Ohhhh he wasn't happy about this at all (But this was hilarious despite the circumstances really)...

"You look like a witch-bird Ikol!~"

"KROOOOWWWWWW-" Annnnd he couldn't talk.

Well. "Hahahaha.. come on... Lets go figure out where we are..." This was absolutely bizarre, hahaha...
